Kirsty spent nearly 15 years at Y Combinator, helping to build and scale the most successful early-stage accelerator in the world. Between 2010 and 2024, she supported thousands of founders, shaped the financial infrastructure behind YC’s growth, and played a pivotal role in transforming YC from a small accelerator into a global startup institution.
Kirsty’s YC journey included the following leadership roles:

Prior to joining Y Combinator, Kirsty spent eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, focusing on audit, finance, and high-growth technology companies. She holds an MEng in Information Engineering from the University of Cambridge, as well as her ACA qualification from PwC.
